An EV is a regular motorcar, but has no ICE and no fuelsystem.
How much maintenance will it require?

Components that may be the same:

• Tires, incl balance and pressure management
  
• Suspension
  
• Traditional electrical system
• Steering, how will this be powered? Is power steering required in a ultra light model?
• Brakes, how will they be powered? Will they have the same stability features?
  

New systems:

• Electric motor management and logging, eco, power or sports settings and preferences.
• Battery management and logging, including management parameter control, charging agenda and preferences.
• Regenerative brake system
• Interior heating and cooling, and window ventilation against condensation (will the heat from the high efficiency motor controller be enough?)
  
• Exterior sound system and user preference settings, including audible feedback for the driver.
• Communication system, set and monitor all these preferences and loggings from your PC, and be sure that noone else has access.
